Version 2.0 includes official support for Apple’s iPad and iPhone 4. In addition, a number of interface enhancements are also incorporated. These include “swipe” enabled navigation and a headings shortcut screen to allow publishers to promote top mobile categories while enhancing the user experience by making these categories more easily accessible while on the go. Video ads round out the list of new enhancements.

CEO Edie Carver Retires

M. Carey Bernier named CEO and chairman of the board

Middleton, WI – March 26, 2010 – The board of directors of InformationPages announces the resignation and retirement of Edie Carver as chief executive officer. M. Carey Bernier, InformationPages’ chief operating officer and cofounder of the company in 1999, has been named chief executive officer and will serve as the chairman of the board. Bernier, 42, will also retain his duties as chief operating officer.

“We thank Edie for her leadership over the past five years. She revitalized InformationPages during a critical and transitional period in the company’s history. Edie oversaw the resurgence of InformationPages in the yellow pages industry and ushered in the greatest year-to-year growth in InformationPages’ history,” said Bernier.

During Carver’s tenure, InformationPages’ client base increased more than 600%. InformationPages currently provides the premier Internet Yellow Pages solution for more than 40 independent yellow page publishers both domestically and abroad along with dozens of TELCOs across the U.S.

“It’s been a real pleasure to work as a member of such a committed and inspired team.
